Responsibilities

Your Mission

  • Monitoring of the real estate markets which the Bank operates. Knowledge of Bank’s secondary markets would be an added advantage.
  • Analysis of the technical and legal elements of a real estate property.
  • Valuation and revaluation of all types of real estate held by the Bank (Commercial & Residential).

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Execution of recurring and ad-hoc fair valuations of all real estate asset classes, held by the Bank as collateral:

o   Expertise in the recognition of fair and unmerited valuations.

o   Expertise on real estate held by the Bank, in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.

o   Expertise on leasing rights.

o   Expertise in the framework of financing and refinancing of property.

  • Writing and compiling reports on completed valuations: Collect information, analyse, reconcile and record the valuations.
  • Observe and advise on residential market conditions.
  • Review valuations conducted by external appraiser’s for fairness in value
must have requirements
  • Ideally a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance or a Master 2 expertise, in real estate or any other related equivalent degree.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in an appraisal firm.
  • Certified appraiser/valuer by either TEGoVA, RICS or IVSC.
  • Good knowledge of the various valuation methods that are recognised at an international level (European standards identified by TEGoVA or the RICS Valuation Global Standards)
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Positive, eager and dynamic attitude.
  • Knowledge of the local real estate market of Luxembourg and of the Greater Region.
