The intern will be proposed to join the OCEB platform and get involved in its activities on developing camera-traps to record different types of organisms. The team has gained experience in the development of such devices for underwater amphibian monitoring but is currently extending its activities to other types of organisms in terrestrial ecosystems.

The tasks of the intern will be carried out in close collaboration with the team involved in such activities and under the coordination of the internship supervisor. They will mainly include the help in the development of the camera-trap devices, the deployment and test of these devices in the field, the management of collected pictures, and the identification of the main species captured on images.

Scientific questions to be addressed and specific objectives to be fulfilled will be set with the intern at the beginning of the internship. At the end of the internship, the intern will provide a scientific report including the material and method and the results describing the tasks and analyses that were implemented.
