The Strategic Sustainable Procurement Office is part of LIST's Finance & Administration department. Its aim is to ensure that the necessary goods and services are available to researchers and other LIST operational services in order for them to carry out their work. 

Responsibilities

How will you contribute?

You will be completely integrated into the SSPO team and will participate in its day-to-day activities. You will be involved in SSPO's main tasks, in particular:

  • Contributing to the analysis and processing of purchasing requests. 
  • Participating in the preparation of calls for tender, within the framework of the law on procurement contracts. (For example: extract data from the LIST management system, define article categories, determine awarding criteria, ...)
  • Participating in the drafting of communication, training or awareness materials for LIST employees.


And in general:

  • Contributing to a sustainable purchasing policy that applies to the institute.
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of the purchasing process.
  • Participating in the update of indicators that are useful for the service and the internal clients.
  • Contributing to the definition of the methods and surveys enabling the quality of suppliers and the goods/services proposed to be evaluated.


The learning objectives can be refined before the start of the internship and can continue during it with the chosen intern.

  • You have completed the first year of a master’s programme in an area covered by the purpose of the proposed assignment.
  • You have an excellent command of French and English (spoken and written). A good knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish will be considered an advantage.
