How will you contribute?
In the legal department, as legal advisor, you will be mainly in charge of:
Drafting, negotiating or reviewing of a broad range of agreements, including consortium agreements, licensing agreements, provision of services, DPAs, NDAs, IT licenses, etc…
Advising on relevant areas of expertise: mainly, IP/IT law, Privacy, European state aid regulations, etc.
Support DPO in its advising role means:
- Contributing to the effective application of the GDPR. This involves, in particular, working closely with the corporate and research departments to align practices, guidelines and policies
- Monitoring implementation of the requirements related to data protection
- Creating/updating privacy information notices for data subjects, terms of use for processing tools and processing/transfer agreements with third parties, as well as drafting/advising on data protection law aspects of contracts, memoranda of understanding, consortium agreements, etc.
- Carrying out data privacy impact assessments
Participating in the development of internal legal documentation of the LIST and the legal watch in the fields of interest for LIST

Education
· Master's degree in law (with particular focus on IP and/or Data Protection)
Experience and skills
- Significant experience in intellectual property, data protection, contract negotiation
- Skilled in drafting general contracts
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, highly trustworthy, attention to detail and ethical
- Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of French would be a strong asset
- 5 to 8 years of experience
