As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Executive Assistant (Legal) to join our Legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for retail to contribute to our legal operations. As an Executive Assistant, you will provide essential support to the legal team, focusing on franchise agreements, general contract review, corporate governance, and administrative tasks. Your role will include assisting with drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Your work will contribute to the smooth operation of Tom&Co's business and ensure the company remains legally compliant in all areas of its operations. You will report to the Group Legal Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

General Administrative & Legal Assistance

Assist in the preparation, review, and drafting of franchise contracts, supplier agreements, and other related legal documentation.

Maintain and organize documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Provide support for business expansion projects, acquisitions, and general corporate matters.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance in operations and business processes.
Maintain and organize legal files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Legal Practice or equivalent by experience.
1–3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to franchise or commercial law.
Familiarity with Belgian law and general contract law.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent attention to detail.
Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and Dutch (English is a plus).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving mindset with a pragmatic approach to legal issues.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with different stakeholders in the company.
