Measuring how drivers perceive changes in tire designs using subjective and objective techniques is a key part of the tire development process. With the decision on whether to develop and market a new tire design being partly dependent on the effectiveness of this process. Furthermore, in order to improve sustainability within the design process there is a need to reduce the number of iterations of physical tires, and the use of real-world test track facilities, and instead make greater use of virtual testing.

In addition, you will have access to the Formula 1 level test track facilities at Goodyear Luxembourg to validate your results. There is also the opportunity to visit Goodyear USA, and the external experts based in Germany and Austria.
