About us and the role we offer

At ngage, we're committed to advancing sustainability efforts and helping our clients achieve their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. As a Sustainability (Reporting) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the assessment, management, and communication of sustainability and ESG performance for our clients. You will be in regular contact with our clients and will build a thorough understanding of their business strategy and specific needs in terms of sustainability reporting and strategy.


More importantly, you will work to help clients shape their corporate strategy and drive their sustainability goals.


What You'll concretely do :

  • Work on diverse sustainability (reporting) projects across different industries.
  • Collaborate in team with ngage consultants, providing support and guidance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and report on data and metrics.
  • Ensure the structure, quality, and timely delivery of our sustainability reporting projects.
  • Plan and manage sustainability diagnosis and planning activities.
  • Support in the Materiality assessment of our clients Impact Risk and Opportunities
  • Define a stakeholder engagement strategy;
  • Design surveys, prepare and conduct interviews, and facilitate group meetings and focus groups;
  • Perform carbon assessments (scope 1, 2 and 3)
  • Perform GAP analysis of Material topics & define sustainability implementation Roadmap
  • Prepare and animate workshops on the sustainability reporting;
  • Plan and manage effort to define to-be organization processes, capabilities, application of key technologies, and performance measurements/KPIs;
  • Monitor achievement of strategic, sustainability, financial and operational benefits, ensure planned outcomes are achieved and help to adjust programs if necessary;
  • Construct overall business case logic;


We're looking for a teammate with the following competences :

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in similar roles.
  • 1-3 years of sustainability reporting experience and/or carbon assessment.
  • Master's degree, ideally in an economical and/or legal orientation
  • Ideally proven knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: CSRD, EU taxonomy, GRI, SBTI, Carbon Assessment, Ecovadis or BCorp.
  • Project management skills and good understanding of business processes
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Structural thinking
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Fluent in Dutch and French with a good working knowledge of English
