Tomorrowland is de afgelopen jaren geëvolueerd naar een wereld entertainment merk en Media huis en heeft verschillende activiteiten zoals Tomorrowland Winter in Alpe d’Huez (Frankrijk), Tomorrowland Brazilië, One World Radio, One World Artist, Record Labels, Tomorrowland Fiction, de DJ en producer Tomorrowland Academy, het kleding en accessoires merk TML by Tomorrowland, Tomorrowland Foundation. Ook CORE Medellín, shows in het sportpaleis en Ibiza worden georganiseerd door het WeAreOne Team dat ondertussen al meer dan 230 medewerkers telt.

Om onze verschillende activiteiten te ondersteunen breiden we het Finance team verder uit met een Business Controller.

In deze functie heb je inzicht en controle over de financials van de verschillende operationele en productionele afdelingen van onze festivals en/of van onze groeiende 365 business units. Je gebruikt deze kennis om de business te ondersteunen op vlak van financiële analyses. Als business partner ben je communicatief sterk, gezond assertief en heb je een goede mensenkennis.

Binnen ons team kan je steunen op mensen in de verschillende pijlers waarrond het Finance departement is opgebouwd: accounting, controlling en business analytics/ processen.

VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN

• Je begeleidt/maakt/analyseert budgetten, forecasts en variantieanalyses.

• Je maakt inzichtelijke analyses van de kostenbudgetten voor de aan jou toegewezen afdelingen. Dit over de verschillende projecten & business units van het bedrijf heen.

• Je bent een sparringpartner voor de afdelingen en business units op vlak van analyse, kennis en opvolging van de cijfers en ondersteunt hen bij het nemen van financiële beslissingen.

• Je rapporteert op zeer gestructureerde wijze periodiek de status van de budgetten en actuals.

• Je volgt vanuit controlling de verschillende offertes (financiële analyses) op van jouw afdelingen en bent het eerste aanspreekpunt. Je kijkt verder toe op een vlotte administratieve afhandeling van de inkomende facturen.

• Je garandeert en ondersteunt een correcte financiële uitwerking in diverse business gerelateerde projecten. (Ad hoc)

• Je vertolkt ook een belangrijke rol in het optimaliseren van de (financiële) processen voor de afdelingen waarvoor je verantwoordelijk bent.

MUST-HAVES

• Je behaalde een diploma “Master handelswetenschappen”, “Toegepaste economische wetenschappen” of “Handelsingenieur”.

• Je beschikt over min. 3 jaar relevante ervaring.

• Je denkt probleemoplossend.

• Je bent een open persoon en creëert op een natuurlijke manier vertrouwensrelaties.

• Je houdt van afwisseling en stelt je flexibel op.

• Je bent bijzonder analytisch en behoudt je helikopterview.

• Je beheerst Excel uitermate goed.

• Je hebt ervaring met ERP-pakketten en een nieuwe tool maak je jou snel eigen.

• Je communiceert duidelijk en brengt je boodschap op een zeer begrijpbare manier.

• Je werkt nauw samen met je eigen team, de collega’s van de boekhouding en de verschillende stakeholders binnen de afdelingen.

• Omgaan met change en extra uitdagingen geven jou energie.

To support our various activities, we are expanding the Finance team with a Business Controller.

In this role, you will gain insight into and control over the financials of the various operational and production departments of our festivals and/or our growing 365 business units. You will use this knowledge to support the business through financial analyses. As a business partner, you are a strong communicator, assertive yet approachable, and have a good understanding of people.

Within our team, you can rely on colleagues across the different pillars around which the Finance department is structured: accounting, controlling, and business analytics/processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guide, prepare, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

• Create insightful analyses of cost budgets for the departments assigned to you, spanning the company’s various projects and business units.

• Act as a sparring partner for departments and business units in terms of analysis, financial knowledge, and monitoring figures, supporting them in making financial decisions.

• Provide structured periodic reporting on the status of budgets and actuals.

• Follow up on offers (financial analyses) from your departments from a controlling perspective and serve as the first point of contact. Ensure smooth administrative handling of incoming invoices.

• Guarantee and support accurate financial execution in various business-related projects (ad hoc).

• Play a key role in optimizing (financial) processes for the departments you are responsible for.

MUST-HAVES

• You hold a Master’s degree in Business Economics, Applied Economic Sciences, or Commercial Engineering.

• You have 3 years relevant experience.

• You are a problem solver.

• You are an open person and naturally build trust-based relationships.

• You enjoy variety and adapt flexibly to changes.

• You are highly analytical and maintain a helicopter view.

• You have excellent Excel skills.

• You have experience with ERP systems and can quickly master new tools.

• You communicate clearly and present your ideas in a very understandable way.

• You work closely with your team, the accounting colleagues, and the various stakeholders within the departments.
