The Société de l'Aéroport de Luxembourg (lux-Airport) is the aerodrome operator responsible for the operation of the airport infrastructure. Our platform provides, among other things, direct flight services to 100 destinations via 14 airlines.

In order to continue to meet our commitments and to develop other projects, we are currently recruiting : an Aeronautical Operations Agent - Lux-Airport Control Center - Operations Department.

The objective of this recruitment is to reinforce the existing team within the Lux-Airport Control Center (LACC) - the airport's nerve center.

You will report to the Airport Duty Manager.

Your responsibilities

Your daily tasks

• Planning the allocation of airport resources (stand, check-in)
• Adjusting these allocations according to changes in the schedule and the specific requests of the various parties involved
• Being the first point of contact by telephone for all airport staff in the event of a problem or emergency, and passing on information to the appropriate people
• Managing passenger boarding and deplaning gates
• Using all available systems (screens, radios, internet, etc.) to assess whether a schedule adjustment is necessary
• Processing and consolidating information to ensure that the Airport Operational Database is continuously updated
• Supervising various operations such as check-in, baggage sorting, operation of the bridges, baggage delivery, etc
• Ensuring the proper management of alarms and guaranteeing immediate communication with all those potentially affected in the event of a high risk
• Acting as a support for the terminal's operating activities
• Identifying and communicating priorities in terms of stand cleaning in winter conditions; liaising with appropriate external service providers

Your other missions

• Ensuring the implementation and improvement of procedures and instructions relating to Airside activities
• Monitoring the various systems of external partners (e.g. ANA, Luxair) and initiating the actions defined in the procedures and instructions
• Participating in the integration of new employees.

The required profile

Studies / training :

BAC or equivalent experience

Experience :

First successful experience in an operational airport environment

Skills and knowledge required:

• French: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)
• English: fluent spoken and written (B2 minimum)

*Know-how and interpersonal skills specific to the job

• A strong interest in aeronautics and aviation

• Ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks

• Valid driving license B
