Bij het Recycling & Cleaning-team van Tomorrowland streven we naar een duurzaam en proper festival(terrein). We richten ons heel praktisch op duurzaamheid, met nadruk op natuur, innovatie, circulariteit, recyclage en hergebruik. Deze thema’s komen tot uiting in diverse initiatieven waarin we graag samen met jou willen werken.

Onderzoek en werk mee aan vernieuwende projecten tijdens de praktische voorbereiding van onze festivals en events. Van (markt)onderzoek tot het maken van planningen en overzichten tot de handen uit de mouwen steken on site, het ligt je allemaal!

VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN

• Bijdragen aan een schoon en duurzaam Tomorrowland.

• Voorbereiden van sensibiliseringsacties tijdens onze festivals & events.

• Actief meewerken aan het beheer van materiaal(her)gebruik en recyclage op het festivalterrein.

• Ondersteunen bij het coördineren van processen en projecten voor duurzaam materiaalgebruik.

• Bijhouden van documentatie en voorbereiden van presentaties over hergebruik en recycling.

• Toepassen van sterke administratieve vaardigheden om planningen en briefings op te stellen.

• Strategisch nadenken over nieuwe concepten, partnerschappen en methoden die de duurzaamheid van het festival bevorderen.

MUST-HAVES

• Je volgt een studie in een relevante richting, bijvoorbeeld materiaalkunde, productontwikkeling, of projectmanagement.

• Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden met de durf om assertief te zijn.

• Een sterk verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en de kwaliteiten van een teamspeler.

• Zelfstandig werken – het Recycling & Cleaning team is een klein team, waarin je het merendeel van de tijd zelfstandig zal werken.

• Creatief en vernieuwend denken komt natuurlijk bij jou.

• Je pakt taken proactief aan.

• Je toont flexibiliteit in je werkstijl.

• Je hebt een stagecontract van school voor min. 3 maanden, idealiter van april tot juni voor een onbetaalde stage.

At the Recycling & Cleaning team of Tomorrowland, we strive for a sustainable and clean festival site. We focus on sustainability in a very practical way, emphasizing nature, innovation, circularity, recycling, and reuse. These themes are reflected in various initiatives in which we would like to collaborate with you.

Research and contribute to innovative projects during the practical preparation of our festivals and events. From (market) research to creating schedules and overviews to getting hands-on on site, it’s all part of the job!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to a clean and sustainable Tomorrowland.

• Prepare awareness campaigns during our festivals & events.

• Actively participate in the management of material reuse and recycling on the festival site.

• Support the coordination of processes and projects for sustainable material use.

• Maintain documentation and prepare presentations on reuse and recycling.

• Apply strong administrative skills to create schedules and briefings.

• Think strategically about new concepts, partnerships, and methods to enhance the festival’s sustainability.

MUST-HAVES

• You are studying in a relevant field, such as materials science, product development, or project management.

• Excellent communication skills with the courage to be assertive.

• A strong sense of responsibility and the qualities of a team player.

• Ability to work independently – the Recycling & Cleaning team is small, and you will be working independently most of the time.

• Creative and innovative thinking comes naturally to you.

• You show flexibility in your work style.

• You have an internship contract from school for min. 3 months, ideally from April to June for an unpaid internship.
