How will you contribute?

You will be contributing to the research and development of the software platform for the BESSER project, especially in the context of a new EU project targeting the use of AI agents to support software development.

BESSER is aimed at building better smart software faster and in this project we will investigate how to use BESSER to empower a low-code approach for software agents and, conversely, how to use agents to support in the activity of software development itself.

In particular, you’ll be working on the development of new code generation and infrastructure techniques to facilitate the development and deployment of multi-agent systems and their coordination.

A combination of modelling and language engineering techniques, AI and orchestration techniques will be used.

You will be in charge of:

  • Extending the BESSER platform with new languages and other model-driven artefacts that facilitate the specification and generation of multi-agent systems
  • Investigate coordination policies for mutli-agent systems and their runtime evaluation
  • Empirically evaluating the usability and benefits of such techniques
  • Ensuring the scalability of the platform under different conditions
  • Participating to research papers and materials presenting and promoting BESSER and its role in the project
