How will you contribute?
The IT Project Manager is pivotal in leading IT infrastructure projects that enhance existing systems and foster new technology adoption.
You will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with IT governance standards. A key focus is spreading a project management mindset within the team and fostering best practices.
You will collaborate closely with the IT organization—covering Infrastructure, Operations, Applications, and Development teams—and partners with the business organization to align projects with company goals.
By acting as a liaison between technical and business teams, you’ll ensure effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and timely project completion, all while seeking process improvements.
You will be mainly in charge of:
· Lead and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
· Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation
· Assess system interdependencies and complexity to ensure seamless integration and project execution
· Identify, monitor, and proactively manage risks; implement preventive and corrective actions
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to gather requirements and define project deliverables
· Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
· Monitor and report actual performance and achievement against the plan
· Manage project scope and handle changes through a structured change management process
· Ensure all projects adhere to IT governance and compliance standards
· Facilitate team meetings, workshops, and other communication sessions to drive project success
· Monitor project milestones and deliverables, ensuring quality and timely completion.
· Manage project budget, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to costs.
· Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical specifics into business-relevant information.
· Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment
· Conduct project evaluations and prepare detailed reports for senior management
· Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement within the project management framework

Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a related field
Experience and skills
· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, particularly in IT systems/infrastructure projects
· Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components like networks, servers, storage, and virtualization
· Ability to understand interdependencies between systems and manage their complexity to ensure smooth transitions
· Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
· Strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and ensure project alignment with business goals.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
· Familiarity with IT governance and compliance standards
· Experience in risk management, with the ability to predict potential roadblocks and implement preventive actions.
· Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, JIRA, etc.
· Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable project plans
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
· Relevant certifications, such as PMP or ITIL, are a plus
Language skills
· Good level both written and spoken English and French
