Your challenges during the Internship

In this 6-month internship, you will contribute to an innovative project aimed at creating a 5D immersive travel experience for individuals who can no longer physically travel, such as residents of elderly care homes. The goal is to help participants relive the joy of traveling, evoke meaningful emotions, and improve their overall well-being. This initiative has the potential to enhance emotional health, quality of life, and support the healthcare system.

Your main focus will be on developing a 3D video experience in a shared setting for up to 8 participants. The experience will integrate scent and cuisine to create a truly immersive and memorable journey.

Your key challenges will include:

• Research: Analyze existing 3D travel experiences and identify best practices
• Storytelling & Piloting: Develop a compelling travel story and produce a pilot experience
• User & Partner Research: Conduct interviews and gather insights from users (e.g., elderly participants) and relevant partners
• 3D Content Creation: Design and produce a high-quality 3D video experience
• Collaboration: Work closely with relevant TCS departments, including TCS Road Travel, to align and integrate efforts
• Business Model Development: Design a scalable platform business model that incorporates potential partners
• Beta-Ready Delivery: Ensure the solution is developed to a beta-ready stage for testing and refinement

This will help you get started

• A strong interest in travel and creating meaningful experiences for others
• A service-oriented mindset with a passion for providing social solutions, particularly for elderly people
• Experience or strong interest in 3D video creation and immersive storytelling
• Ability to collaborate in a team and with external partners
• Enthusiasm to learn, experiment, and bring innovative ideas to life
