SD-25088 – PhD CANDIDATE IN AI BASED ENERGY FORECASTING FOR ENERGY COMMUNITIES
Temporary contract | 48 months | Belvaux
Are you passionate about research? So are we! Come and join us
The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is a Research and Technology Organization (RTO) active in the fields of materials, environment and IT. By transforming scientific knowledge into technologies, smart data and tools, LIST empowers citizens in their choices, public authorities in their decisions and businesses in their strategies.
You will join the Intelligent and Clean Energy Systems (ICES) research unit at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and will actively contribute to the SmartCore project, funded by the EU Interreg SWE program, in collaboration with research institutions and industrial partners around Europe.
The SmartCore project aims to increase the share of renewable energy (RES) in NWE by providing integral energy management capabilities to NWE Energy Communities (ECs). These capabilities will help 6 existing EC’s (2NL, BE, FR, LU, IE) to organise and improve their collective RES production and consumption, enhancing RES integration in the energy mix. Developing Smart Community-Owned Renewable Energy (SmartCORE) capabilities in varying contexts is crucial to de-risk and support further RES investments in NWE.
