How will you contribute?
About the Role As the Head of Communications at LIST, you will lead, plan, and manage the institute’s communication strategy to strengthen its reputation, branding, and engagement at local and international levels. You will provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on reputation management and deploy strategic actions to enhance corporate communication, research dissemination and public engagement ensuring a consistent and compelling message across all channels.
This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can influence and inspire both internal and external stakeholders. You will oversee a team dedicated to enhancing LIST’s visibility through communication campaigns, events, and digital media initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement high-quality, long-term strategic internal and external communication plans.
· Align communication strategies with LIST’s overarching vision, priorities, and business objectives.
· Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels, enhancing LIST’s reputation and stakeholder trust.
· Develop communication strategies that highlight LIST’s research and innovation breakthroughs, making them accessible and engaging for broader audiences.
· Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy and process to enhance the visibility of our innovative technology offers to the right industrial partners, government agencies, and investors.
· Develop effective dissemination activities to ensure that research and innovation projects gain visibility at both local and international levels.
· Lead crisis communication strategies and manage media relations, acting as LIST’s spokesperson.
· Manage and optimize LIST’s digital presence, including the website and social media platforms.
· Oversee internal communication to foster employee engagement and a shared sense of purpose.
· Plan and execute high-impact events, managing logistics, stakeholder engagement, and post-event evaluations.
· Monitor communication effectiveness through data analysis and refine strategies for greater impact.
· Manage the communication budget efficiently, ensuring optimal resource allocation.

What We’re Looking For:
· Proven experience in a communication management role, with a strong strategic mindset.
· In-depth knowledge of communication, marketing, and branding principles.
· Expertise in social media strategies, digital marketing, and stakeholder engagement.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
· Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with a collaborative and results-driven approach.
· Ability to manage crisis communication, develop media relations, and craft compelling narratives.
· Experience in event planning, budget management, and multi-channel communication strategies.
