SD-25244 POSTDOC IN FUEL CELL DEVELOPMENT FOR DRONES
24 months contract | Belval
Are you passionate about research? So are we! Come and join us
The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is a Research and Technology Organization (RTO) active in the fields of materials, environment and IT. By transforming scientific knowledge into technologies, smart data and tools, LIST empowers citizens in their choices, public authorities in their decisions and businesses in their strategies.
You will join the Intelligent and Clean Energy Systems (ICES) research unit and the Materials for Energy Conversion and Storage research group. The group focuses on developing next-generation materials and systems for sustainable energy solutions. Our research spans fuel cells, electrolyzers, batteries, and power-to-X systems, with a strong emphasis on bridging fundamental research and industrial applications.
This postdoctoral position is part of a cutting-edge project aimed at developing high power density and lightweight fuel cells for drone applications. By optimizing electrode and membrane materials, we seek to enhance reaction kinetics, ionic conductivity, and overall fuel cell performance and power density, making hydrogen-powered drones a viable alternative for extended-range UAV operations.
