How will you contribute?
You will join the RDSA Unit that carries out impact-driven research by combining the power of computers and human capabilities to take better, faster, more robust, fair and trustworthy decisions in our complex and changing world. We study Cyber-Physical-Social Systems (CPSS) to imagine, design, test and develop the next generation of technologies, where computers and humans are smoothly and fairly working together to tackle challenging issues.

Has demonstrated a broad and systematic understanding of a RDI field and mastery of research/technology associated with that field obtained through advanced learning combined with research experience after PhD degree.
Very good project management skills including planning, resources management, etc.
Understands the agenda of industry and public sectors.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Your role will be among others, and depending on their area of activity, the duties may include:
Leads and conducts RDI projects or missions with autonomy under limited oversight (e.g., medium size projects or entire work packages of large projects).
Takes responsibility for setting priorities, planning, and adapting work plans related to their projects or missions. Ensures the quality of results and delivery in the expected timeline.
Supervises or co-supervises young scientists/engineers helping them to be more effective and successful in their job. Coordinates the work of other scientists or engineers involved in their projects.
Conducts RDI that impacts the knowledge and activity in their field. Contributes to original RDI by developing a substantial body of work, innovation or application that could merit nat./int. refereed publications or patents or invention disclosures.
Addresses complex RDI problems within their field that can involve multiple issues, areas or specialties based on prior experience and analysis of issues. Understands the value of own RDI work in the context of products, services and market needs. Understands the agenda of industry and public sectors.
Formulates innovative/ scientific/ technologic concepts. Takes in charge the development of prototypes. Drafts and submits patents and licenses.
May conduct policy formulation and implementation activities in their field of expertise.
Contributes to securing new funding through the preparation of project proposals. Identifies and proposes opportunities of RDI funding. Actively supports or gets involved on on-going funding efforts.
Writes papers, publications, and scientific reports. Publishes in peer-reviewed journals. Reviews the scientific production of less experienced scientists.
Influences parties within and outside of the area regarding projects, policies, practices and procedures under responsibility.
