Our job opportunity


Today, we are currently recruiting an Airport Safety Expert.


Your responsibilities


*Your daily tasks

  • Analysing and investigating complex Safety Occurrence Reports.

  • Proactively creating, developing and implementing safety communication (safety campaigns, safety flashes, new developments).

  • Supporting departments in the conduct of safety assessments and implementation; definition of safety related mitigation measures.

  • Actively participating in the development and implementation of action plans/projects to reduce the highest safety risks.

  • Working closely with the Safety Manager on safety assessments for major airside works.

  • Verifying and ensuring the completeness and compliance of documentation, that all safety aspects have been taken into account and advising the various stakeholders.

  • Providing support to stakeholders in the application of change management and ensuring proper coordination with the relevant authority.

  • Developing and implementing actions arising from the FOD control programme.

  • Supporting the Safety Manager in aerodrome emergency management committees and the preparation of emergency exercises. Also provide expert advice based on observations and results of exercises on the level of safety management.

  • Participating in the integration of new employees 

  • Participating in waste sorting and energy saving through responsible behavior

The required profile

 

Studies / training

Postgraduate degree (Bac +3) or relevant experience in a similar position

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years successful experience in a similar role

  • Real-time experience in the quality and/or safety domain is preferred

Skills and knowledge required

Mandatory:

Microsoft Office suite


*Languages

Mandatory:

  • French: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)

  • English: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)

Nice-to-have:

  • German: the knowledge of this language would be an asset.
