Day Care arcus is an international Maison Relais, where English is the main language and cultural richness is both celebrated and embedded in daily life. They offer a warm, child-centered environment for children aged 6 to 12, grounded in the Weltatelier concept, which values each child as independent and full of potential. The diverse team of pedagogues, educators and child care specialists creates meaningful, interest-driven experiences that foster creativity, communication, scientific thinking, and social-emotional growth. All activities are guided by Luxembourg’s Cadre de Référence National for non-formal education. The team also carefully designs and prepares different function rooms that are designed to inspire exploration, creativity and self-directed learning. Day Care arcus is looking for: Aide socio-éducatif/ éducateur diplômé (M/F/NB) for 20-25h/week on a fixed-term contract (CDD) from 01/09/2025 - 15/07/2026 to cover maternity and parental leave.
Responsibilities
Supervision, support, and non-formal education of children aged 6 to 12 in a caring and stimulating environment.
Planning and organisation of educational and recreational activities tailored to the children's needs.
Ensuring a structured and safe environment for the children.
Regular communication with parents about their children's development.
Collaboration with colleagues to ensure consistent pedagogical quality.
Requirements
A degree, or relevant experience in education and care.
Fluency in English (native speaker is an asset).
Comfortable with 2 of the 3 country’s official languages (Luxembourgish, French, German).
Excellent communication skills and team spirit.
Knowledge of the Weltatelier concept is an asset.
