Role Overview
Luxembourg Air Services (LAS) is part of the LAR Group. We are seeking experienced and motivated Freelance Type Rating Instructors (TRI) and/or Type Rating Examiners (TRE) for the Airbus H145 helicopter to support our training and operational needs. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and conducting proficiency checks in accordance with EASA regulations and company standards.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the “NP-Crew Training Manager” or the “Head of Training”, the successful candidate will:
· Conduct type rating training and checks on the H145
· Deliver ground and flight instruction in compliance with EASA and company procedures
· Support standardization and quality assurance in training
· Collaborate with the operation teams to ensure training aligns with mission requirements (HEMS, HHO, etc.)
Requirements
Mandatory:
· Valid EASA TRI(H) and/or TRE(H) on H145
· Extensive instructional experience on multi-engine helicopters
· Strong knowledge of EASA regulations and training standards
· Fluent in English (ICAO Level 4 or higher)
· Flexibility to work on a freelance basis and travel as needed
Preferred:
· Experience in HEMS, HHO, or NVG operations
· Familiarity with Luxembourgish aviation environment
· Additional instructor ratings (FI(H), NVG Instructor)
· Fluency in French, German, or Luxembourgish
