Main mission

As a Réviseur d’Entreprises – Funds sector within our firm, you will specialise in overseeing the full audit cycle for both regulated and unregulated investment funds, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, profitably, and in line with our professional standards, client and partners expectations. Your main mission is to conduct rigorous audits so that fund annual accounts accurately and  reflect their companies’ financial positions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will guide clients in interpreting complex financial data, strengthen internal controls, and enhance financial and regulatory reporting. As a key partner to fund boards and audit committees, you will provide valuable insights tailored to the funds sector.

You will be actively involved in managing and developing your team, contributing to the growth of Grant Thornton by promoting our services and expanding our fund client portfolio. You will thrive in dynamic and stimulating environment, working with a broad range of funds and asset managers.

Main responsibilities

• Conduct statutory audits and certify financial statements for both regulated and unregulated investment funds companies;

• Analyse accounting and financial processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency;

• Identify risks and recommend practical improvements;

• Ensure audit reports and present findings to clients;

• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and auditing standards;

• Lead and support team members, including assessing staff performance during engagements;

• Maintain strong client relationships to ensure high client satisfaction and effectively coordinate with client management at all levels;

• Proactively interact with key client stakeholders to gather information, solve audit issues, and make recommendations for business and process improvements;

• Maintain the highest professional standards and strict client confidentiality;

• Regularly attend professional development and training sessions.

Main requirements

• Réviseur d’Entreprises professional qualification is a must;

• Fluent in English (German or/and French are considered as an asset);

• From 10 years of experience in External Audit, ideally in Luxembourg;

• Proficient in MS Office and accounting/audit software;

• Proactivity, rigour and results-oriented;

• Excellent analytical, organisational, leadership and project management skills;

• Attention to details and willingness to take on responsibilities inside our team.
