We are growing our dedicated team and are looking for a Surgical Glaucoma Sales Specialist to support the adoption and expansion of MINIject® in the Northern region of the UK. In this field-based role, you will report directly to the Sales Manager Europe and benefit from high visibility within an international commercial team.
Responsibilities
Customer Development & Support
Work closely with glaucoma specialist centres to support and expand the use of MINIject®.
Identify high-potential new users and help them successfully integrate MINIject® into their practice.
Training & Expertise
Provide expert training and support, both outside the OR and during procedures, to help establish MINIject® as a standard treatment for glaucoma.
Prepare the market for the next generation of MINIject®.
Long-Term Partnerships
Act as a MINIject® ambassador, building long-term partnerships with surgeons, their teams, referring physicians and other stakeholders.
Deliver outstanding service and commitment.
Achieve and Exceed Sales Targets
Consistently meet or exceed your sales targets.
Provide accurate forecasts and detailed territory planning to contribute to company growth.
Market Presence
Be the “face of iSTAR” in your territory.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D and Clinical teams to effectively position MINIject®.
Data Management
Maintain accurate customer records and document your sales activity diligently in the CRM system.
Profile
You have at least 3 years of successful sales experience in the surgical implant sector, ideally in ophthalmology. You have a track record of launching new medical technologies with all relevant stakeholders.
You hold a degree in a scientific or medical discipline, preferably in ophthalmology or optometry.
You communicate effectively in both formal and informal settings and are recognised by your clients as a top performer in your region.
You are energetic, driven and proactive. You thrive on complex challenges and take initiative with a creative, solution-oriented approach.
You enjoy an autonomous, dynamic and varied role that includes regular travel within your territory, with 1–2 overnight stays per week.
Ideally, you already have strong relationships and an existing network within ophthalmic surgical centres in your region.
