Novastone Capital Advisors (NCA) runs a global Operator-Led Search Fund program, helping mid-career professionals to identify, acquire, grow, and exit established small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) typically faced with succession challenges.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented intern to support two key initiatives within our Success Management department: broker outreach and project management for our operator onboarding. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in research, relationship building, and operational project management. 

Responsibilities: 

• Broker Outreach 

  • Conduct research to identify potential corporate relationships with M&A advisors 

  • Compile target lists and identify suitable contacts 

  • Prepare initial outreach communications under supervision 

  • Contribute to building inbound deal flow channels and educating advisors about our Operator-Led Buyout Program 

• Searcher Onboarding to ClickUp 

  • Assist with onboarding new searchers to our project management platform (ClickUp) 

  • Develop training materials for future searchers 

  • Ensure smooth and efficient transitions into the platform 

  • Support oversight of search phase and acquisition processes 

Duration and Hours 

• Broker Outreach: 2-4 months 

• Searcher Onboarding: 2–4 months 

• Flexible schedule, approximately 20 hours per week 

Requirements: 

• Preferred: Business or related field of study 

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills 

• Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Office) and ClickUp 

• Effective verbal and written communication skills 

• Ability to work independently with general supervision 

• Florida or Tallahassee college students preferred
