About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Modeler/Animator with strong rigging and character animation skills. You’ll work across both cinematic offline pipelines and real-time Unreal Engine workflows, bringing characters and assets to life for both pre-rendered content and interactive live events.
You will work on-site, remotely, or in a hybrid setting based on business needs, on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
Model, rig, and animate characters, creatures, and props for cinematic and real-time workflows.
Develop film-quality animations while optimizing for real-time use in Unreal Engine.
Collaborate with technical artists and engineers to integrate assets into pipelines.
Maintain clean, efficient, and production-ready rigs and animation systems.
Work with directors to ensure performance and storytelling meet creative intent.
Support both offline rendering pipelines (Arnold, V-Ray, etc.) and Unreal real-time pipelines.
Qualifications
Strong portfolio of character modeling, rigging, and animation work.
Proficiency in Maya, Blender, or equivalent DCCs.
Solid understanding of character rigging, deformation, and skinning.
Experience in cinematic-style animation and storytelling.
Familiarity with Unreal Engine animation workflows.
Ability to optimize assets for both offline render and real-time use.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of motion capture workflows and retargeting.
Experience with Python/MEL scripting for rigging/animation tools.
Background in live event or virtual production pipelines.
Senior-Level Expectations
Lead animation and rigging direction across projects.
Mentor artists and establish best practices.
Collaborate closely with directors and leads on storytelling-driven animation.
