We are currently looking for a motivated and driven Full-Stack Engineer under a permanent contract.
Summary
The Full-Stack Data Engineer is responsible for managing the entire data lifecycle, from data collection and infrastructure to analysis and business insights delivery. This role combines strong back-end data engineering capabilities with front-end analytics and visualization expertise.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT), collecting and transforming data from APIs and databases, and structuring scalable data architectures. The role also involves performing data analysis, generating actionable insights, and creating interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL and modern data architecture practices is essential.
Missions of the role
- Develop and maintain data architectures, data models, and data warehouses to ensure data reliability, consistency, and accessibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-quality data solutions using Python, SQL, and modern data engineering practices
- Build and optimize automated data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to collect, process, transform, and store data from multiple sources such as APIs, databases, files, and external systems
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation activities to improve data quality and usability
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business insights.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards, visualizations and reporting solutions
- Develop back-end components and data services supporting analytics, automation and machine learning initiatives
- Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability and reliability of data workflows and systems
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of coding standards, processes and best practices
- Participate in the design, integration, testing, debugging and deployment of data applications and systems
- Collaborate with the Data team to assess and implement business requirements, and deliver scalable and efficient data solutions
- Write and maintain technical documentation and operational manuals for developed tools and solutions
- Provide level 3 support for Data Platforms and tools, including troubleshooting, incident resolution and problem management
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, data engineering trends and analytics best practices
- Carry out any other duties as assigned
Required skills
Qualifications / diploma(s): Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Years of experience in the area: 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or back-end data development using Python and SQL
Technical Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing, automation, and analysis
- Experience with data engineering and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Knowledge of data transformation tools such as dbt
- Familiarity with relational databases and data warehousing concepts
- Experience integrating data from APIs and multiple data sources
- Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker…)
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar
- Basic understanding of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)
- Knowledge of version control tools and development best practices (Git, testing, debugging, code reviews)
Languages: Fluent in French and in English. Any other language is an asset.
