We are currently looking for a motivated and driven Quality Assurance Engineer under a permanent contract.
Missions of the role
Daily interaction with affected functional team (Product Owner, Developer, etc.)
Maintain application coverage up to KPI standards.
Organize and execute testing activities on all environments.
Application backlog bug management with proper impact classification
Design and development:
Test plan
Test strategy
Test case & Test data
Test execution
Reporting
Being able to deep dive in the product and all features of the applications maintained by the affected functional team.
Prepare and drive application and features demos.
Familiar with multiple platform basic manipulations (Windows, Linux, Mobile, Databases)
Provide Go/nogo releases status to the Tech Lead and Product Owner
Automation:
Developing test cases in Java
Familiar with Selenium / SoapUI / Postman
CI/CD pipeline & Source management
Supporting customer during integrations
Carrying other duties as assigned
Required skills
Qualifications / diploma(s): Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences or equivalent experience.
Technical Competencies:
- Ability to write or understand Bash, HTML/XML, SQL, JavaScript<>TypeScript, Java
- Experience in Scrum methodology
- Experience using JIRA / Confluence is an asset
- Intermediate SQL level
- Previous experience testing PKI/Banking/Mobile/Web applications
- Experienced in QA with ISEB/ISTQB certification or similar experience
- Experience in test design, risk management, defect management with a strong background in security
- Solid knowledge of manual and automated software testing
- Experience writing test documentation
- Hands on experience testing on the main software platforms: Web, Windows, Linux, iOS, OSX, Android
- Familiarity with the following technical stack used in our Quality Assurance processes: Selenium, Postman, Rest Assured and BDD Framework /Page Object Framework
- Proven relevant commercial experience in system, integration, regression, performance, stress, functionality, upgrade and installation testing
Languages: French and English fluent. Any other language is an asset.
