We are currently looking for a motivated and driven Financial Controller for our Luxembourgish business unit under a permanent contract.
Missions of the role
Reporting & Closings
- Prepare and ensure the reliability of monthly and annual financial reports,
- Guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of monthly closings in coordination with accounting team,
- Support the consolidation of group financial data if applicable.
Entity Accounting
- Take full ownership of the accounting for an entity, in compliance with internal standards and procedures,
- Stay closely connected to daily operations to identify areas for improvement and process optimization.
VAT and corporate taxes
- Review of the VAT declarations of all companies of the group,
- Ownership on the preparation and filing of the corporate taxes of the group,
- Stay up to date with regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company.
Process Optimization & Cross-functional Projects
- Be a proactive contributor to the improvement of financial and accounting processes,
- Take part in continuous improvement initiatives around tools and reporting practices.
Controlling & Financial Analysis Support
- Work closely with the management control team,
- Provide reliable accounting data for reporting tools,
- Perform financial analyses to support decision-making,
- Offer operational support to the controlling team.
Team Development & Knowledge Sharing
- Act as a key member of the finance team, sharing expertise and supporting the development of other team members.
Other tasks as assigned:
- Support on external audit tasks
- Assist in internal projects
Required skills
Qualifications / diploma(s): Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or related experience
Technical Competencies: Excellent in financial statements, review and analytical skills and VAT and Corporate tax.
Languages: French and English fluent.
