Automation & Process Engineer / Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d)

Based in Luxembourg, you will integrate and reinforce our Pulverized Coal Injection department. Are you fascinated by technology driven, large scale industrial plants and on site work close to the customer? Join us to plan, test and start up Fuel Injection plants—Pulverized Coal Injection (PCI) and gas injection systems—and their upstream units such as Coal Grinding and Drying (GAD) plants and compressor stations. • Plan and execute software tests (SW FAT) at supplier or customer premises and assure a smooth plant start-up and plant safety

  • Supervise Cold Commissioning (no load) and lead Hot Commissioning

  • Manage ramp up and fine tuning to achieve performance guarantees

  • Coordinate commissioning teams (internal, partners, and customer)

  • Train operators and maintenance staff

  • Perform service assignments like audits, troubleshooting, optimization, and tuning on operating plants

  • Compile and update operation & maintenance manuals

  • Represent Paul Wurth in meetings with customers, partners, and suppliers to communicate progress, risks, and mitigations.

  • Flexibility for frequent international travel for software validation and commissioning missions (typically 1 week to 3 months per trip)

  • Fluency in English and high-level communication skills in relation to customer and project team.

What do we offer?

  • Interesting development possibilities in an international, innovative and dynamic company

  • Large training measures and target-oriented feedback

  • Attractive remuneration package

  • Flexible working hours and entitlement to leave, which exceeds the minimum legal standards

  • Extra social security benefits like additional pension insurance, additional health and accident insurances.
