For more information, please visit: www.istar-medical.com We are growing our dedicated team and are looking for a Territory Manager to support the adoption and expansion of MINIject® in the Northern region of the UK.
In this field-based role, you will report directly to the Sales Manager Europe and benefit from high visibility within an international commercial team.
Responsibilities
Customer Development & Account Management
• Develop and grow relationships with glaucoma specialist centres to support and expand the use of MINIject®.
• Identify and convert high-potential new users, supporting them to successfully integrate MINIject® into their clinical practice.
Training & Clinical Support
• Deliver expert training and ongoing support, both outside the operating theatre and during procedures, to help establish MINIject® as a standard treatment option.
• Prepare the market for the next generation of MINIject® technology.
Partnership Building
• Act as a MINIject® ambassador, building long-term partnerships with surgeons, theatre teams, referring physicians and other key stakeholders.
• Deliver outstanding service and a high level of professional commitment.
Sales Performance
• Consistently achieve or exceed agreed sales targets.
• Provide accurate forecasting and detailed territory planning to support sustainable business growth.
Market Presence & Collaboration
• Be the face of iSTAR Medical within your territory.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, R&D and Clinical teams to effectively position MINIject®.
Profile
• You have at least 3 years’ successful sales experience in the surgical implant or medical device sector (ideally within ophthalmology)
• You bring either a proven successful sales track record in Class II or Class III medical devices or an established network in glaucoma / ophthalmology
• You hold a degree in a scientific or medical discipline; ophthalmology or optometry is an advantage.
• You are a confident communicator in both formal and informal settings and are recognised by customers as a high performer.
• You are energetic, driven and proactive, with a creative, solution-oriented mindset.
• You enjoy working autonomously in a dynamic, field-based role and are willing to travel regularly within your territory, including 1–2 overnight stays per week.
• Existing relationships within ophthalmic surgical centres in the Northern UK region are a strong advantage.
