How will you contribute?

To accelerate the development of next-generation capabilities for lunar resource assessment, mission planning and in-situ resource utilisation, we are looking for a senior engineer who can drive the design and implementation of an integrated, scalable, and user-centric node-graph architecture for scientific and geospatial data workflows.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a modular framework enabling planetary mapping, resource assessment, mission planning, and mining analysis workflows.

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end processing pipelines for heterogeneous scientific and geospatial datasets.

  • Prototype, validate, and operationalize algorithms, interfaces, and workflow components for lunar resource applications.

  • Translate scientific and engineering needs into actionable software specifications and robust technical solutions.

  • Lead software development cycles from concept to stable deployment, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

  • Deliver high-performance visualisation tools supporting exploration analysis, uncertainty evaluation, and decision-making.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align tools and architectures for lunar resources.

  • Support the growth of ESRIC activities in data processing pipelines and exploration activities for space resources.
