Your mission & responsibilities
Anticipate the impact of the energy transition (flexibility, electrification, prosumers, dynamic pricing, incentive-based tariff methodologies) on market processes and systems, and actively contribute to their evolution.
Bring your expertise to the continuous development of market standards and models (including MIG-DGO and MIG6) in the context of the Belgian energy transition.
Ensure strong alignment between market design principles, market processes, and customer journeys across energy market stakeholders.
Model, challenge, and improve end-to-end processes, taking into account both business and regulatory constraints.
Play a key role in translating business needs into clear functional requirements, working closely with IT and development teams to support successful implementation.
Support organizational change by helping teams adopt new processes, tools, and market models in a constantly evolving environment.
Your profile
You hold a Master’s degree (Civil or Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Economics, or equivalent).
You have at least 2 years of experience in the energy sector and a solid understanding of its key mechanisms.
You demonstrate strong analytical and synthesis skills and enjoy tackling complex topics.
You thrive in cross-functional environments and enjoy collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
You are comfortable initiating, driving, and facilitating change.
You communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.
You speak and write perfectly French, have an excellent command of English; knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset.
You are pedagogical and able to explain complex topics, simplify concepts, and support or train a wide range of audiences.
Who are we looking for
We are looking for a new colleague to strengthen ngage expertise on Energy Transition topics. We do not expect candidates to master all these topics from day one — especially with around 2 years of experience.
We are equally open to junior profiles who have a strong interest in these topics and initial exposure, as well as more senior candidates who already bring a high level of expertise. So feel free to apply even if you do not check all boxes.
