We are seeking a motivated Legal Intern to support our M&A Legal team in the US with organization, documentation, and special projects related to our portfolio companies. This internship offers hands-on exposure to legal operations and is ideal for students interested in pursuing a legal career.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain an Excel spreadsheet or similar resource that summarizes key provisions from portfolio company LLC and LP agreements
Reorganize and standardize Legal Department document folders to improve accessibility and consistency
Draft simple legal documentation for portfolio companies under supervision
Duration and Hours:
Expected duration: approximately two to four months
Weekly hours: approximately 15 hours per week
Requirements:
Preferred candidates include pre-law students or early law school students
Candidates should be studying pre-law, law or completing their paralegal studies
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Practical experience using Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint is preferred
