Voor onze Belgische accounting hun zijn we op zoek naar een Senior Accountant ter versterking van het Tomorrowland team.  Het Finance team is er eentje met pit, drive en een gezonde dosis humor. Als Senior Accountant rapporteer je aan de Accounting Manager en ben je mee verantwoordelijk voor het mee verder ontwikkelen van de boekhoudafdeling.

VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN:

In deze rol heb je heel wat uitdagingen en verantwoordelijkheden:

Dagelijkse en maandelijkse boekhoudprocessen:

• Dagelijks bijwerken van bankverrichtingen en afpunten van de juiste rekeningen

• Je volgt op maandelijkse basis mee de belangrijkste balansposten op en zorgt ervoor dat de boekhouding volledig up-to-date is. (wachtrekeningen, investeringen, overlopende rekeningen)

• Je overziet en coördineert de volledige betaalcyclus en zorgt ervoor dat de voorgestelde betaalagenda wordt nageleefd.

• Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor de opvolging van de debiteuren en crediteuren.

Fiscale verplichtingen:

• Het controleren, voorbereiden en indienen van de BTW aangiftes

• Opvolgen van indienen van verschillende fiches, roerende voorheffing, compliance enquêtes

• Het opmaken en indienen van de vennootschapsbelasting

Rapportering en analyses

• Je ondersteunt de Accounting Manager in allerlei analyses en zorgt ervoor dat deze data beschikbaar is. Je houdt nauw contact met de controller van jouw toegewezen business units.

• Kennis van alle processen en flows van de boekhoudafdeling, zodat je kan inspringen wanneer nodig

• Je volgt mee het accounting support team op, houdt een overzicht van alle interne deadlines en doelstellingen.

MUST-HAVES:

• Diploma Accountancy-Fiscaliteit

• 3+ jaar ervaring in de functie van senior accountant

• Kennis van boekhoudnormen (BE GAAP), de regelgeving (BTW, Vennootschapsbelasting, …) & boekhoudkundige IT-tools zoals MS Office, Exact, …

• Een communicatief, sociaal persoon met humor en een hart voor mensen en cijfers

For our Belgian accounting team, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to strengthen the Tomorrowland team. The Finance team is full of energy, drive, and a healthy dose of humor. As a Senior Accountant, you will report to the Accounting Manager and share responsibility for further developing the accounting department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you take on a wide range of challenges and responsibilities:

Daily and Monthly Accounting Processes:

• Daily processing of bank transactions and reconciliation of the correct accounts

• Monthly follow-up of key balance sheet items to ensure the accounting records are fully up to date (suspense accounts, investments, accruals)

• Overseeing and coordinating the full payment cycle and ensuring compliance with the proposed payment schedule

• Acting as the first point of contact for accounts receivable and accounts payable follow-up

Tax Obligations:

• Reviewing, preparing, and filing VAT returns

• Managing the submission of various tax forms, withholding tax, compliance questionnaires

• Preparing and filing corporate income tax returns

Reporting and Analysis:

• Supporting the Accounting Manager with various analyses and ensuring that data is available when needed. You maintain close contact with the controller of your assigned business units.

• Understanding all processes and workflows within the accounting department so you can step in where needed

• Supporting the accounting support team, maintaining an overview of all internal deadlines and objectives

MUST-HAVES:

• Degree in Accountancy–Taxation

• 3+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant

• Knowledge of accounting standards (BE GAAP), regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax, etc.), and accounting IT tools such as MS Office, Exact, …
