We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented intern to support the recycling and cleaning operation of our large-scale festival. This role offers hands-on experience across all stages of the event — from planning and logistics to on-site execution and post-event analysis. As an intern, you’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient waste management and environmental responsibility, contributing directly to sustainability goals while gaining practical insight into the behind-the-scenes operations of major events. Activities
Contribute to pre-event planning by helping structure the waste management plan, mapping disposal points, and organizing team and supplier data
Follow and monitor on-site operations during the event, supporting collection points, interacting with cleaning teams, and tracking waste volume data in real time
Support communication with suppliers and recycling partners to ensure alignment and smooth execution of waste management processes
Assist in structuring post-event data, including total waste generated and recycling rates, supporting the development of final reports and insights
Requirements
Availability for a 2-year internship
With 2 years until graduation (expected year of graduation 2028)
Enroled in a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Environmental Engineering, Production Engineering, Environmental Management, Business Administration, or related subjects
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel)
Organization, attention to detail are very important
Analytical and proactive profile, with a strong interest in sustainability and events
Advanced English and fluent Portuguese
What you need to know
Our office is located in Vila Madalena (São Paulo)
We work on-site, with Fridays as a home office day
The recruitment process includes an online profile assessment and a brief English validation in the first interview
