YOUR ACTIVITIES


Your main mission consists in designing and maintaining electro-mechanical sub-systems for the satellite ground segment and the rubber industry testing equipment.

  • Design electrical installations and controller solutions for the satellite ground segment and the rubber industry testing equipment:

    • Define, document, implement and test new features and technologies in existing or new products,

    • Create electrical concepts and drawings,

    • Identify, assess and mitigate safety risks related to electro-mechanical machinery and define electrical safety concepts to address those,

    • Start-up in-house designed machinery and commercial components.

    • Interact with internal & external customers and suppliers in order to promote, improve and troubleshoot HITEC’s electrical and automated solutions:

    • Present, explain and defend important features and concepts in discussions with the customers and use their feedback to improve and troubleshoot the products,

    • Interact with suppliers to select components and perform obsolescence management.


YOUR PROFILE & KNOWLEDGE


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or automation engineering,

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant field of activity, including good understanding of electrical and electro-mechanical installations and power electronics,

  • Design of electrical installations, including electro-mechanical devices such as motors, and related drawings (EPLAN P8),

  • Ability to perform safety analyses of electro-mechanical machinery (using tools such as Safexpert, Sistema) and to design electrical systems fulfilling the common safety norms (such as the machinery directive 2006/42/EC),

  • Good team spirit,

  • Ability to work in an English-speaking environment including technical discussions and documentation activities, German, French and Luxembourgish being considered as a plus,

  • Ability to adapt to new situations and work with various type of stakeholders and partners to achieve the desired results,

  • PLC software development is considered a plus (e.g. PLCopen Structured Text ST).
