Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Research & Development (R&D) team in Singapore. The intern will support engineering activities related to fire suppression systems and components, with a strong focus on pressurized gaz systems. This role offers hands-on exposure to product development, testing, and innovation within a safety‑critical engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support R&D projects involving fire suppression systems and mechanical components
Assist in the design, development, and improvement of pressurized gaz systems, including cylinders, valves, piping, and discharge devices
Perform basic mechanical calculations, evaluations, and design reviews
Participate in prototype assembly, laboratory testing, and system validation
Analyze test results and contribute to design optimization and continuous improvement
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and engineering drawings
Collaborate with R&D engineers and cross-functional teams on innovation initiatives
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a MASTER degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
Familiarity with pressurized systems, fluid mechanics, or thermodynamics
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and engineering documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Interest or coursework related to fire suppression systems or fire protection engineering
Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
Basic understanding of pressurized gaz systems or industrial safety systems
Interest in R&D, testing, and product development environments
