We are looking for a motivated post doc in the field of electrocaloric materials.
The purpose of this topic is to fabricate multilayer capacitors made of electrocaloric polymers. All the process will be performed at LIST. These devices will be thoroughly characterized in LIST premises, notably their dielectric, ferroelectric and electrocaloric properties. These multilayer capacitors will be used in haptic devices, in order to emulate the feeling of cold and heat on the tip of a finger.

· Differential scanning calorimetry
· IR camera to characterize the electrocaloric effect of electrocaloric polymers
· Writing scientific papers
· Attend international conferences

Education
· PhD’s degree in Physics, Electronics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
· Good level of English (spoken and written)
· Strong hands-on laboratory skills and attention to detail
· Strong teamwork abilities
Language skills
· Fluency in English both oral and written.
