We are currently looking for a motivated and driven SecOps Engineer under a permanent contract.
Summary
As a First Line SecOps Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for security incidents and operational security tasks. You will work closely with development, Ops, and DevOps teams to enhance the security posture of our applications, infrastructure, and observability tools. Your role is crucial in ensuring that security best practices are integrated into daily operations, and that potential vulnerabilities are identified, reported, and remediated in a timely manner.
Missions of the role
* Security Operations & Incident Response
- Act as the first line of response for security alerts and incidents, performing initial triage and escalation to the second line security team when necessary.
- Monitor security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.) and respond to alerts, ensuring rapid mitigation of threats.
- Participate in incident response activities, including evidence collection, analysis, and reporting.
* Collaboration & Security Integration
- Work closely with Product, Ops, and DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Advise on secure coding practices, infrastructure hardening, and observability improvements.
- Assist in the design and implementation of security controls for applications and infrastructure.
* Vulnerability Management & Remediation
- Identify, assess, and track vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure, and third-party dependencies.
- Ensure vulnerabilities are prioritized and remediated according to the organization’s risk appetite and remediation plan.
- Monitor and report on the status of remediation efforts, escalating risks as needed.
* Continuous Improvement & Security Awareness
- Conduct regular security reviews and audits to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies through continuous learning and threat intelligence.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of security processes, playbooks, and documentation.
* Observability & Compliance
- Enhance observability by integrating security logging, monitoring, and alerting into existing systems.
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring security controls are in place and evidence is available for audits.
Required skills
* Qualifications / diploma(s): Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
* Years of experience in the area: 3-5 years of experience as a SecOps Engineer
* Technical Competencies:
- Experience with security tools (SOC, SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, vulnerability scanners, etc.).
- Understanding of networking, firewalls, and security protocols.
- Technical skills in DevSecOps
* Languages: French and English fluent. Any other language is an asset.
* Specific skills:
- Excellent communication and team-building skills

- Familiarity with standards and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001 …).
