The Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) drives the development of Luxembourg's space sector, represents the country within European and international institutions, and fosters international and bilateral relations through official visits and economic missions.
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated intern to support daily activities related to the promotion of international relations in space-related fields. This full-time internship lasts +/- 6 months and starts in September 2026.
Key responsibilities
· Analyse and perform financial, statistical, economic, and qualitative evaluations of the collected data and prepare a comprehensive report on the financial needs of space ecosystem companies (immediate, 5-year, and 10-year outlooks), covering aspects such as private funding, investments, VCs, loans, equity, and venture debt, based on a dedicated questionnaire and market intelligence activities related to the space sector.
· Mapping of space ecosystems and capabilities across Europe, the USA, and Japan
· Mapping and analysis of space investments and venture capital activity, including trends and key transactions.
Academic background and skills required
· You hold or are pursuing a master’s degree in economics, finance, economic intelligence or business engineering or related field
· Numerical and analytical skills with the ability to understand different topics in depth and synthesise efficiently
· Strong understanding of financial analysis (i.e., income statements, balance sheets, business plan, etc.), economic and market analyses.
· Strong quantitative and data analysis skills, with the ability to collect, structure, analyse, and interpret complex datasets to support market intelligence activities.
· Interest in innovation, venture capital, deeptech, and the commercial space sector is highly valued.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and a good command of French is an asset.
