Role overview

We are looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to help scale and structure our infrastructure capabilities during a key acceleration phase of our Product & Technology strategy.

You will play a central role in driving our cloud infrastructure, operational reliability, cybersecurity initiatives and AI-enabled platform evolution. This is a player-coach position: you will actively contribute to infrastructure and cloud operations while helping structure priorities, ownership and execution across the infrastructure perimeter.

You will work closely with Engineering, Product, Data and Security teams, while supporting and coordinating the infrastructure function across the group, including cloud platforms, workplace infrastructure and internal operational systems.

You are comfortable moving between strategic discussions, technical decisions and day-to-day execution, helping transform priorities into tangible outcomes.

This role reports directly to the Chief Product & Technology Officer and is part of the broader Product & Technology leadership committee.

What you’ll be driving

• Own and evolve the infrastructure strategy
  Define and drive the evolution of our cloud and infrastructure ecosystem, ensuring scalability, reliability, maintainability and alignment with the broader Product & Technology strategy.

• Drive cloud operations & platform reliability

  Actively contribute to AWS infrastructure operations, monitoring, automation, disaster recovery, observability and platform performance improvements across our marketplaces and service

• Oversee workplace & organizational infrastructure
  Ensure reliable and secure internal infrastructure operations across workplace systems, collaboration tools, access management and internal IT processes, while helping improve support efficiency and operational maturity.

• Strengthen cybersecurity maturity
  Collaborate closely with the CISO to improve infrastructure security, cloud hardening, access governance, vulnerability management, monitoring and incident response capabilities.

• Lead infrastructure execution & coordination
  Help structure infrastructure priorities, coordinate execution and improve alignment with Product, Engineering and Business teams. Act as the main infrastructure interface across the organization and ensure infrastructure initiatives remain aligned with buinsess priorities and delivery needs.

• Improve operational efficiency through automation & AI
  Explore and implement AI-assisted operations, automation opportunities and modern infrastructure practices to improve scalability, operational efficiency and engineering productivity. Contribute to the adoption of AI capabilities that enhance both internal operations and customer-facing platforms.

• Lead and develop the infrastructure team
  Help structure team responsibilities, improve ownership, support professional growth and foster a culture of accountability, reliability and continuous improvement.

What you bring

• Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native environments
  Including services such as ECS, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, Route53, CloudWatch, WAF and related infrastructure tooling.

• Solid infrastructure & systems engineering background
  Including cloud infrastructure, workplace environments, networking, operational support and infrastructure reliability.

• Good cybersecurity foundations
  Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, IAM, infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management and operational security concepts.

• Hands-on technical leadership experience
  Prior experience as a Lead Engineer, Tech Lead or similar role within infrastructure, cloud or platform engineering environments.

• Strong ownership and execution mindset
  Ability to drive topics end-to-end, prioritize effectively, align stakeholders and improve operational maturity in a pragmatic way.

• Interest in AI-enabled practices
  Passion for exploring how AI can transform both internal ways of working and customer-facing products. Experience with AWS AI services, particularly Amazon Bedrock and related ecosystem components, is a strong advantage.
