About HITEC
Founded in 1986, HITEC is a 100%-owned Luxembourg engineering and technology company with around 60 employees offering high technology solutions across business areas including satellite ground segment, equipment for testing and measuring of physical properties, traffic management and mission critical systems. With a multidisciplinary, client-centric approach, we serve both private, institutional and public sector clients nationally and internationally. As the company continues to develop and grow, we are looking for an HR Manager who will play a key role in supporting our growth, strengthening our people practices and helping us build a modern, efficient and business-oriented HR function.
THE ROLE
This is a standalone HR position with broad responsibilities and a high level of autonomy. As the main point of contact for managers and employees, you will oversee the full HR function and contribute to HITEC’s growth and development. We are looking for someone who enjoys both building and running HR: defining strategic initiatives, improving existing practices and processes, driving change, and working closely with operational teams, while also being comfortable handling the day-to-day realities of a hands-on HR role. While this is a standalone role, the successful candidate may benefit from administrative support resources as the HR function develops. Recruitment, employer branding and people development will be key priorities, alongside the professionalisation and digitalisation of HR processes. The position can be tailored between 75% to 100%, depending on the candidate's profile, experience and preferences.
KEY-RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent acquisition & employer branding
Lead end-to-end recruitment activities across the organisation.
Partner with managers to anticipate hiring needs and attract the right talent.
Develop sourcing strategies and talent pipelines.
Improve candidate attraction, candidate experience and onboarding processes.
Strenghten HITEC’s positioning and visibility as an employer of choice for technical and engineering profiles.
HR development & organisational growth
Support managers on performance management, employee development and people-related matters.
Identify opportunities to strengthen people practices across the organisation, notably through HR policies and tools.
Contribute to employee engagement, retention and development initiatives.
Lead and support HR projects linked to HITEC’s growth and evolving needs.
HR transformation & digitalisation
Play a key role in the implementation and deployment of a new HRIS.
Support the optimisation of current HR processes and identify opportunities for digitalisation, simplification and automation.
Develop reporting capabilities and HR metrics.
HR operations
Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
Ensure compliance with labour regulations and internal policies.
Coordinate payroll-related activities and liaise with external partners.
Oversee working time management, attendance tracking, overtime monitoring and related reporting.
Maintain HR records, reporting and documentation.
Internal communication
Coordinate internal communication initiatives.
Ensure regular internal events, team-building activities and company gatherings are organised to foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
PROFILE
Proven experience in a broad, standalone or highly autonomous HR role, working across the full HR spectrum in Luxembourg.
Strong expertise in talent acquisition, ideally within technical or engineering environments.
Experience leading HR projects and driving process improvement initiatives.
Interest in HR digitalisation and HRIS implementation.
Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Pragmatic, business-oriented and comfortable operating in a growing organisation.
Good interpersonal skills, discrete, accurate and trustworthy
Comfortable working in a technical environment and interacting with technical experts and project teams.
Very good knowledge of MS-Office, collaborative platforms and HRIS, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and support digital workflows.
Fluency in French and English.
WHY JOIN HITEC?
