How will you contribute?
The AI Readiness and Assessment (AIRA) research group at LIST is seeking a highly motivated professional to lead the development of Luxembourg AI Factory services into mature offerings meeting market needs. Operating at the intersection of applied AI, service/product design, and go-to-market strategy, this position focuses on taking services in the Luxembourg AI Factory and turning them into coherent, valuable assets for the ecosystem's target users: startups, SMEs and large corporations. The ideal candidate is a practical strategist, comfortable moving between technical product content, human-centered design, and communication.
Service Design and Management: You will manage Luxembourg AI Factory's services and take them to the next level of maturity and market readiness.
User Feedback: You will conduct user studies, gather input from service users, and continuously refine the product design, product backlogs, and implementation roadmaps, with a particular focus on AI Assessment and Sandboxing Services.
Communication and Marketing Strategy: You will define the positioning, messaging and channel strategy for each productized asset, ensuring consistent branding and tone across the AI Factory's public-facing outputs and stakeholder communications.
Build Go-to-Market Assets: You will create the supporting materials that make each service easy to understand, adopt and promote across the ecosystem.
Support Ecosystem Engagement: You will engage with project partners and the wider ecosystem — including the open-source community, contributors and community governance — to formulate recommendations that guide them through a coherent journey across services.

Education
Master’s degree in Service Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Innovation Management, or a closely related discipline
Ph.D. in those disciplines is considered an asset
Experience
Experience in service design and/or service management
Experience with digital product design and communication
Experience conducting user research or user studies (interviews, surveys, focus groups, usability testing, etc.) is an asset
Any hands-on experience with AI-related projects or tools is a plus
Hard skills
Advanced expertise in Digital Product and Service Design: Service design methods (service blueprint, journey mapping), UX/UI design tools (Figma or equivalent), experience in conducting user research (interviews, usability testing)
Value proposition & Business design: positioning of services, value proposition frameworks, experience translating technical capabilities into user benefits
Communication & Marketing: familiarity with marketing and communication strategies and product branding
AI literacy: familiarity with AI concepts and the AI policy landscape
Soft skills
Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to scientific rigor and interpretability
Notions of explainability and trustworthiness in AI
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to non-specialists
Intellectual curiosity and motivation to work on applied, impact-driven research
Ability to work independently while contributing constructively to a collaborative project environment
Language skills
Fluency in English, both oral and written. Other relevant languages are an asset.

This position offers a gross monthly salary between €6’000 and €6’679, paid over 13 months (€79’200–€86’800 annually) based on full‑time employment. The final salary offer within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s overall profile, qualifications and professional experience .
