Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and coordinate SAP-related initiatives within a complex business and IT environment.
The successful candidate will combine strong project management capabilities with a solid understanding of the SAP ecosystem and its main functional modules. The role does not require deep technical configuration expertise but requires the ability to understand functional dependencies, challenge stakeholders, coordinate SAP experts and drive delivery end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
Lead SAP projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
Define and manage project scope, planning, budget, resources, risks and dependencies.
Coordinate business teams, IT teams, SAP functional/technical experts and external partners.
Manage governance, SteerCo preparation, reporting and executive communication.
Ensure effective management of risks, issues, decisions and change requests.
Coordinate testing, UAT, cutover, go-live and post-go-live activities.
Manage dependencies and integration points between different SAP modules and surrounding systems.
Ensure alignment between business requirements, SAP capabilities and project objectives.
Drive stakeholder engagement and facilitate decision-making across business and IT teams.
Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners where applicable.
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience as a Project Manager on SAP implementation, migration, transformation or upgrade projects.
Good functional understanding of the SAP landscape and key modules, including FI, CO, SD and Knowledge of other SAP modules and S/4HANA environments is highly valued.
Ability to understand cross-module dependencies and integration challenges.
Strong experience in project governance, planning, budget management, risk management and stakeholder management.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary and international teams.
Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
SAP SuccessFactors knowledge or project experience is a strong plus.
