Job mission
Department description
One of Luxinnovation's core activities is to support companies seeking national funding for their innovation activities and sustainability investments. The mission of the National Funding team is to guide and support companies throughout the process of applying for innovation and environmental state aid, ensuring they access the right instruments at the right time.
Job description
As a Junior National Funding Advisor, you will reinforce the National Funding team in the context of increased demand for innovation funding and decarbonisation grants.
You will provide first-level guidance to companies, support eligibility assessments and contribute to the promotion of national funding opportunities — including the AI Factory initiative and environmental aid schemes.
You will progressively develop expertise across funding instruments, eligibility criteria and application processes under the mentorship of experienced advisors.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Your responsibilities are structured around Luxinnovation's four core pillars of activity:
Contribute to the promotion of national funding opportunities by supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of awareness campaigns, workshops and events, particularly in relation to emerging environmental and AI aid schemes.
Assist the National Funding team in knowledge-sharing activities and continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to the team's effectiveness and visibility.
Under the guidance of experienced advisors, participate in client meetings and support the preliminary assessment of companies seeking public funding for research, innovation and sustainability projects, including conducting eligibility checks and due diligence reviews.
Support the review of funding applications by analysing project descriptions, financial statements, investment plans and supporting documentation, and contribute to the preparation of internal decision-support documents for Gate 1 and Gate 2 reviews.
Manage and qualify incoming client requests on a daily basis, with a particular focus on opportunities related to the AI Factory initiative and environmental/decarbonisation funding schemes, ensuring timely orientation towards relevant support services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the customer relationship management (CRM) system and other internal tools, ensuring high-quality data management and effective follow-up of client interactions.
Fund:
Provide first-level guidance to companies on available state aid instruments for innovation and sustainability, including the AI Factory initiative and environmental/decarbonisation funding schemes.
Collaborate closely with senior members of the National Funding team to address more complex client enquiries and progressively develop expertise across funding instruments, eligibility criteria and application processes.
Contribute to the preparation of client feedback and internal decision-support documents under the supervision of senior advisors.
This list is not exhaustive. Additional tasks may be assigned to the holder of the job.
You will act as a key bridge between national/European initiatives and the Luxembourg business ecosystem, driving innovation and sustainable growth.
