Our job opportunity


Today, we are currently recruiting an Airport Contingency Coordinator.


Your responsibilities


*Your daily tasks


  • Support the Contingency Manager in implementing, maintaining and continuously improving the airport’s emergency management, business continuity and operational resilience arrangements.

  • Help update and maintain the Aerodrome Emergency Plan (AEP), together with its associated procedures, contact lists, checklists and documents.

  • Help implement and maintain the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework. Coordinate the preparation and review of Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and fallback procedures with the relevant Business Line Owners.

  • Ensure the Airport Emergency Coordination Centre (AECC) remains operationally ready, including its documentation, equipment, communication systems and regular checks, and provide support when it is activated.

  • Coordinate the administrative and operational follow-up of the Manager-on-Duty (MoD) and Director-on-Duty (DoD) arrangements, including documentation, training, exercises and escalation procedures.

  • Organise and support emergency management and business continuity training, exercises and simulations. This includes preparation, stakeholder coordination, documentation, debriefings and follow-up on lessons learned.

  • Coordinate contingency meetings and working groups with internal and external stakeholders, prepare the necessary documentation and follow up on agreed actions.

  • Contribute to the management of internal airport volunteer and special assistance arrangements, including volunteer records, training, activation procedures and operational coordination.

  • Draft, update and maintain plans, procedures, instructions, checklists and other documents relating to emergency management, business continuity and operational resilience.

  • Help prepare for and follow up on audits and regulatory oversight activities relating to contingency planning, including maintaining required documentation, preparing supporting evidence and tracking findings and corrective actions.

  • Contribute to post-incident and post-exercise reviews, keep action plans up to date and follow up on corrective and improvement measures with the relevant stakeholders.

  • Prepare reports, statistics and performance indicators, and contribute to the continuous improvement of contingency and resilience arrangements.

The required profile

 

Studies / training

 Higher education degree (Bachelor) or equivalent experience

Experience


  • 2 to 5 years of experience in an operational environment, ideally in the airport or aviation sector.

  • Experience of or exposure to emergency planning, crisis management and/or business continuity is an advantage.

  • Experience in an operational or complex environment; knowledge of airport operations is an asset.

  • Experience coordinating activities involving different internal and/or external stakeholders.

  • Experience preparing, reviewing or updating procedures, plans, instructions and related documents.

  • Experience organising or supporting exercises, training or simulations is an asset.

  • Strong ability to work across teams in a dynamic environment.
