Grant Thornton Luxembourg is currently seeking a Senior Consultant - EU & Public Institutions I Financial Management & Reporting - Advisory to start ASAP.

Main responsibilities
Support your Line Manager in developing our EU Advisory department and maintaining strong client relationships.
Support financial management and accounting activities, including the review, reconciliation and analysis of financial information across multiple data sources.
Prepare and maintain financial and management reporting, ensuring information is accurate, complete and delivered in line with applicable requirements and timelines.
Review cost allocations and expenditure, supporting the assessment of cost eligibility and maintaining clear supporting documentation.
Contribute to audit and control activities by preparing financial evidence, reconciliations and documentation and supporting responses to audit-related requests.
Work with financial data, reporting tools and internal systems to perform data analysis, improve data quality and support the development of efficient reporting processes and workfloclient stakeholders.
Main requirements
Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience within financial management, accounting, reporting, audit or a comparable finance-related role.
Strong practical understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, cost analysis and financial controls, with excellent attention to detail.
Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; French and/or German is considered a strong asset.
Strong Excel and data-handling skills; familiarity with Power BI or other financial/reporting tools would be an advantage. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with practical experience in Power BI, dashboards, KPIs and data analytics considered a strong asset.
High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proactive, adaptable and solution-oriented mindset, with a positive and collaborative approach.
Ability to interact confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders.
