About the Role
Be part of a dynamic, international team shaping the future of sport, management, and digital strategy.
As Lecturer/Senior Lecturer; you'll deliver high-quality teaching and take full responsibility for module coordination and industry liaison, while undertaking independent research within the discipline.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver teaching across the department's Bachelor’s and Master's programmes, undertaking independent teaching and research within the discipline.
· Engage in independent scholarly research, disseminate findings, and contribute to the institution's research environment.
· Take responsibility for entire modules and their quality, ensuring that content, delivery, and assessment remain current and effective.
· Engage the department's industry partner network at a high-profile and international calibre, including inter(national) sport federations, global sports brands, and athlete management/sport agencies.
· Foster a culture of care for students.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
· Demonstrable capability in independent teaching and research
· Experience taking responsibility for entire modules, including quality development
Desirable Criteria
· Doctoral degree in a relevant field and/or significant experience in industry
· Subject expertise across the department's areas of teaching (see Areas of Expertise)
· Experience in research projects and grant writing

· Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build and sustain relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners.
· Strong written and verbal English communication skills (C1/C2), French or German is an advantage.
