Why Join HITEC?
A small, cross-functional team
The engineering teams being relatively compact means that you will work across the full lifecycle of a product rather than one narrow task, that you are exposed to adjacent disciplines (electrical, mechanical, software), and people who join the team typically take on broader or more senior responsibilities faster than in larger organisations.
4 main fields of activity
HITEC Luxembourg develops, produces and maintains Satellite Ground Segment solutions for space and satellite applications used in commercial, defence and scientific projects. Over the past 25 years, we have provided numerous projects within Europe, from the tropics to the polar regions, ensuring secured and reliable operations for our customers.
The company develops and produces industrial Testing Instruments used in R&D and in quality control to measure physical properties of rubber fillers and battery materials. Being a reference on the market, our instruments are used worldwide by all major producers and users of these materials to ensure compliance with ASTM standards.
The Mission Critical offering enables organizations to communicate, collaborate and maintain real-time situational awareness when it matters most. From emergency response and defense operations to critical infrastructure and public safety, our solutions provide secure and resilient connectivity, enabling teams to access, share and act on critical information wherever they operate, even in the most challenging environments.
The Traffic Management department provides engineering and maintenance services for intelligent transportation systems. We design and implement cutting-edge smart mobility solutions that improve road safety, optimize traffic flow, and support sustainable transportation strategies for connected and autonomous mobility, while ensuring the reliability and performance of road infrastructure.
Decisions made in Luxembourg
HITEC is independently owned and managed. Decisions about products, projects and people are made locally, by the people you work with on a daily basis.
Equipment deployed worldwide
Ground segment equipment designed by this team is installed on operational sites worldwide. Testing instruments are also sold worldwide and used daily by manufacturers in quality control and R&D.
An established, certified employer
HITEC is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified, holds the ESR (“Entreprise Socialement Responsable”) label from INDR, is a signatory of the IMS Diversity Charter, and has signed Luxembourg’s National Pact “Business and Human Rights.”
Working in Luxembourg
Luxembourg is a small, safe and multilingual country (English, French, German and Luxembourgish are all in common use at work), with one of the most international populations in Europe (over 170 nationalities live and work here). It offers a high standard of living, free public transport nationwide, good schools including international and European schools, accessible healthcare, and short distances overall: city, countryside and neighbouring countries are all close by. Its central European location also means easy access to most major European cities for travel (more information on https://workinluxembourg.com)
For candidates from countries without a specific agreement with Luxembourg, the standard work permit process can also be relatively fast.
