How will you contribute?
Operating pilot-scale prepreg and tape manufacturing lines for thermoplastic and thermoset composite semi-finished products.
Preparing prepregs and tapes using natural fibres, carbon fibres and bio-based polymer systems.
Preparing thermoplastic films and evaluating powder-based impregnation routes.
Performing laboratory experiments to investigate the influence of processing parameters on material quality.
Collecting, processing and documenting experimental data while ensuring good laboratory practices.
Supporting the optimization of manufacturing processes through systematic experimental testing.
Contributing to research activities related to sustainable composite materials and bio-based processing technologies.

Education
• Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering or a related field.
Experience and skills
• Previous laboratory experience (academic, internship or industrial) in chemistry, polymer science, materials science or related fields is considered an asset.
• Hard skills: Basic knowledge of polymer chemistry and materials characterization. Experience with common laboratory techniques such as FTIR, DSC, TGA, optical microscopy or rheological measurements is considered an asset. Ability to accurately prepare samples, perform experimental testing and record results. Good laboratory practice (GLP) and safe handling of chemicals. Basic data analysis using Microsoft Excel or similar software.
• Soft skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Curious, proactive and eager to learn new laboratory techniques. Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary research team. Good communication and documentation skills.
Language skills
• Fluency in English (and French), both oral and written. Other relevant languages are an asset.

This position offers a gross monthly salary between €5043 and €5527, paid over 13 months (€65559–€71851 annually) based on full-time employment. The final salary offer within this range will be determined based on the candidate's overall profile, qualifications and professional experience.
