How will you contribute?
This position is required in the context of the Nexys project, which consists of the implementation of the Unit4 ERP system across LIST.
The Accounting Assistant will provide essential operational reinforcement to ensure the continuity and reliability of accounting activities while actively supporting the Nexys project. This temporary reinforcement is necessary to secure statutory accounting obligations, maintain service quality, and support the successful stabilization of the new ERP environment.
Under the supervision of the Head of Accounting, the Accounting Assistant will contribute to both day‑to‑day accounting operations and ERP transition activities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Supporting accounts payable activities (supplier master data, invoice processing, expense claims, payment follow‑up) in compliance with internal procedures and accounting rules.
Assisting the accounting team during the Nexys (Unit4) ERP implementation, including data migration checks, validation of accounting entries, and reconciliation activities.
Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and contributing to the identification and resolution of functional issues related to accounting processes in Unit4.
Providing first‑level functional support to accounting users during the transition and post go‑live phases.
Supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities during the ERP transition period.
Contributing to the documentation and continuous improvement of accounting processes in a digitalized environment.

Education
Graduate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
First professional experience in accounting or accounts payable; experience in a public organisation or R&D environment is an asset.
Good knowledge of accounting principles, in particular accounts payable and VAT accounting.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP and/or Unit4) and interest in process digitalisation and ERP implementation projects.
Experience and skills
Proven experience in accounts payable activities: invoice processing, supplier master data maintenance, payment follow‑up, and expense claims handling.
Rigorous, well‑organised, and methodical approach, with strong attention to detail and compliance with procedures.
Ability to support accounting operations during periods of change (ERP migration, parallel runs, process adaptations).
Good communication skills, enabling effective interaction with internal stakeholders and accounting users.
Autonomous, reliable, and discreet, with a strong sense of confidentiality and service quality.
Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes.
Language skills
Good level both written and spoken English and French
